How does Gallivant Globetrot function?
Travelers enter a request for the trip basis his/her requirements which are collected through a pre-defined form of questions. The details collected are then shared with the local/expert travel agents, who revert with their best quotes. So a traveller gets multiple quotes from multiple agents to choose from. The selected itinerary with quotes is then customized by the selected travel agent and traveller. Once the itinerary is fixed, traveller makes payment through Gallivant Globetrot and is assured of the trip with Gallivant Globetrot Money Safe Guarantee. Once the trip is complete, the traveller reviews the travel Agent on Gallivant Globetrot platform, thus, providing the travel agents the opportunity to know and/or improve their services.

Booking and cancellation
How do I book a trip through Gallivant Globetrot?

You will have to sign up to create an account on our website to book a trip. The best travel agents, for your specific destination, will prepare an itinerary for your trip & provide you the best quotes in response to your request. You can choose the one that suits you the best and book your trip by making the payment.

I have posted a request for a trip on Gallivant Globetrot. What do I do now?
You don't have to do anything now! Someone from our team will reach out to you within 24 hours. Also, you will be provided multiple quotes from multiple agents within 24 to 48 hours. Post receipt of this email, you can fine-tune your itinerary along with the travel agent and craft an awesome customized holiday for yourself!

How do I cancel my package booking?
Log on to our website, visit the dashboard and you will see an option of 'Active Trips'. Go to that option, click on 'Cancel Request' and your booking will be canceled.

What is your Cancellation Policy?
Gallivant Globetrot ensures that it delivers great customer experience. However, there may arise cases where dissatisfaction is expressed for our offerings in terms of products and services.  We have a very liberal cancellation policy as follows:

  • Gallivant Globetrot or its affiliate partners will not be liable for any Visa rejections and Hotel cancellation policies would still stand as they are
  • No cancellation service fee if the payment has not been processed.
  • If the cancellation of the trip is done post the payment of booking amount, then the amount to be refunded is calculated as below:
  • Gallivant Globetrot will charge Rs.500 as cancellation service fee from the booking amount paid per person across destinations* over and above any cancellation charges levied by the agent.

Cancellation charges as per the cancellation policy of the agent will also hold good.

*For Sri Lanka & Turkey, Gallivant Globetrot will charge $10 per person as cancellation service fee.

What is your Refund Policy?
All refunds are processed within 21 days to the traveller from the day of cancellation of the trip.

What are the different modes of payment for booking a trip on Gallivant Globetrot?

Usually, Internet Bank Transfer is the cheapest mode of payment for the traveller, as for all the other modes, banks and payment gateway providers charge an extra fee which has to be borne by the customer.

Is it safe to use my debit/credit card on Gallivant Globetrot?
Yes, it is absolutely safe to use your card on gallivantglobetrot.com. A recent directive from RBI makes it mandatory to have an additional authentication passcode verified by VISA (VBV) or MSC (Master Secure Code) which has to be entered by buyers while paying online using visa or master credit card. It means extra security for customers, thus making online transactions safer.

What is EMI related procedure?
The EMI option is available on your Credit Card payment. You can avail this option if you hold a valid credit card from any of the following banks - ICICI, AXIS, HSBC, Standard Chartered, Citibank, Indusland Bank, Kotak Bank or Ratnakar Bank.
